Booking & Payment

Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed once a written confirmation is issued, and the required deposit is received. Any modifications to the agreement must be documented in writing.

Booking Timeout

Bookings will be held for 60 minutes from the time of initial booking. If payment is not completed within this timeframe, the booking will be automatically cancelled and the reserved seats will be released back into availability. This policy ensures fair access to our limited cabin capacity.

Payment Terms

Customers have the option to pay the total price at the time of booking.

  • 50% deposit if the departure date is within three (3) months.
  • 30% deposit if the departure date is more than three (3) months away.
  • Full payment required if the departure date is within one (1) month.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than thirty (30) days before departure. Failure to complete payment on time may result in booking cancellation.

Any local fees must be paid in cash upon boarding.

Cancellation Policy

  • More than 3 months before departure: 100% refund.
  • Between 1 and 3 months before departure: 50% refund.
  • Between 2 weeks and 1 month before departure: 25% refund.
  • Less than 2 weeks before departure: 0% refund.

Booking Amendments

Changes to reservations are subject to availability. Any amendment costs will depend on supplier charges or penalties.

Cabin Occupancy

  • Solo travelers will be paired with a same-gender cabin mate.
  • Single occupancy is available at an additional surcharge based on the specific booking and pricing structure.

Children & Minors

  • The minimum age allowed onboard is 8 years.
  • Minors (8-18) must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Younger children may be allowed on private charters subject to prior agreement.

Insurance Requirements

  • Comprehensive dive and travel insurance is mandatory.
  • Coverage must include dive-related injuries, medical evacuation, and trip cancellations.
  • Sindalahs Yacht is not liable for financial losses due to factors beyond our control (e.g., weather conditions, regulatory changes).
  • If no insurance is held, the person will be fully liable out of pocket.

Health, Medical Conditions & Disabilities

  • Guests must disclose any medical conditions before booking.
  • A valid medical certificate may be required to ensure fitness for diving and other activities.
  • If accommodations cannot be reasonably provided, Sindalahs Yacht reserves the right to decline the booking.

Complaints & Dispute Resolution

  • Issues must be reported immediately to the cruise director to allow corrective action.
  • Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 days of trip completion.

Rental Equipment

  • Guests are responsible for inspecting rental gear before use.
  • Damage or loss of rental equipment is chargeable at replacement cost.

Itinerary & Route

  • All itineraries and dive sites are subject to change due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or government regulations.
  • No refunds will be issued for itinerary modifications or missed dives.

External Guides & Instructors

  • Independent dive professionals must provide proof of certification, liability insurance, and experience.
  • Sindalahs Yacht reserves the right to reject external guides or instructors who do not meet company standards.

Alcohol & Substance Policy

  • Alcohol consumption before or between dives is strictly prohibited.
  • Guests must wait at least eight (8) hours after alcohol consumption before engaging in diving activities.
  • Violation of this policy may result in a suspension from diving activities.

Conduct & Safety

  • Guests must adhere to all safety regulations and crew instructions.
  • Aggressive, disruptive, or unlawful behavior may result in removal from the vessel at the guest's own expense.

Force Majeure

Sindalahs Yacht is not responsible for disruptions due to unforeseen events such as natural disasters, pandemics, war, or government-imposed restrictions.

Liability & Waivers

  • All guests must sign a liability waiver before participating in diving and other onboard activities.
  • Waivers can be completed online before the trip or upon arrival.

General Terms

  • The final night may be spent onboard or at a designated hotel.
  • Minimum participation numbers apply; if not met, the trip may be rescheduled or canceled.
  • Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond arrival.
  • Required details must be provided at least four (4) weeks before departure.

Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in: From 4 PM on the first day of the trip.
  • Check-out: By 10 AM on the final day.
  • Airport transfers to and from the boat are included.
